NCAA National Championship Games

The March Madness has finally come to an end in North Texas as we have reached the Men's National Championship Game on Monday Night. We also have the Women's National Championship Game on Tuesday Night in Nashville, TN. For the Men's the match-up is the Connecticut Huskies versus the Kentucky Wildcats. For the Women's it is the Connecticut Huskies versus the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. To this point in the Men's bracket the UConn Huskies have defeated St. Joseph's, Villanova, Iowa State, Michigan State, and top-ranked Florida in that order and are underway against Kentucky. To this point in the Women's bracket the UConn Huskies have defeated Prairie View A&M, St. Joseph's, BYU, Texas A&M, and Stanford. The UConn women play thier National Championship Game on Tuesday against Notre Dame in Nashville.

Home Stretch Of The 2014 Sochi Olympics

Thus far in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi the US is currently sitting in 3rd place in the medal count with 7 Gold, 5 Silver, and 11 Bronze totaling out to be 23 medals in these 2014 Winter Olympics. There are still a few days left of the Sochi Olympics. So anything can happen in regards to the medal count. There are 4 remaining events for today in the Olympics. Olympics In Full Swing

After the Opening Ceremony on Friday in Sochi, the Olympics kicked off real quick. The US is currently 4th in the Medal Count sitting with 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 3 Bronze, totaling out to be 6 medals in all. Canada and Norway are tied in the Medal Count each with 4 Gold. The difference is for Norway has 4 Gold, 2 Silver, 4 Bronze, totaling out to 10 medals in all; and Canada has 4 Gold, 3 Silver, 2 Bronze, totaling out to 9 medals in all. Then comes the Netherlands with 3 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze totaling out to 7 medals in all. After the US comes Germany with only 2 Gold medals who are in 5th in the Medal Count.
