The Springfield Falcons have accomplished a franchise first last night with a 4-2 win over the Wilkes/Barre Scraton Penguins. The Falcons had become 3-0, throughout the Falcons 19 year history Spingfield had never accomplished that feat. Not even when they made it to the Eastern Conference Finals in 1997, where they fell in 7 games to the soon to be champion Hershey Bears.
